Red Ivory Lodge Wedding – Wilna & Eben

Wilna and Eban were married at Red Ivory Lodge on September 23rd in Gauteng.  If you want to know the dramatic story of how I got there, then check out this post, and click here.  Needless to say however, that my daughter was born the night before in Vredendal on the West Coast of South Africa.  I had to drive 1000Km through the night after being there for the birth, and catch a flight to make the wedding….and I made it!

I was so fortunate to be able to work with Dylan from Tyme Photography on this wedding. IM a big fan of the Tyme teams work.  I call them the Ninja Crew!  I think they do too..

Wilna and Eban met me at the wedding of Liezl and Dan about a year or so ago, and were happy with the images from that wedding and booked me for their wedding in Jozi.  It, as always is, Was awesome to shoot in that area as it is so different from the Cape and a  nice change.  I love the skies in Gauteng, and the light.  It is definitely different from the Cape so fun to play with and use for the images.

I was having fun with the girls and going for an elegant and stately feel when I was doing the portraits.  They were a great bunch to shoot.

Lots of the images from this wedding were taken by Dylan from Tyme.  We have a very different style, but I love his style, so it was fun while editing to see very different perspectives of the same occasion and people.  If your ever looking for a photographer in those parts, and any part of SA for that matter……Do not hesitate to contact Tyme Photography.  They Rock!
