Cascade Manor – Michael and Michele – *wedding*

As I mentioned in my previous wedding post of Karabo and Sisa I had two weddings in a row at Cascade Manor near Paarl……And as I mentioned before I really love it there.  Its an amazing and unique place to tie the knot.  If Celeste gets the nerve to ask me to marry her one day, I would totally consider to have the day here.

So this one of the first weddings where I knew at any minute I was going to become a Dad, and it was a great wedding to take into consideration what becoming a parent is all about.  Michele and Michael are such a great example of a loving family.  You could totally see how important it was for them to come together as one in union, and together they have a complete family already.  Their kids were cool to hang out with and every now and again you would catch Micheal or Michele spending time with each child to make sure they were feeling special and important.  Its such a big thing really, when I was young my Mom would always make sure to spend a day with just me, take me to the movies or to a sporting game or whatever it was….she would make sure to spend quality time with just me.  It made me feel on top of the world, and she would do this with my Brother and Sister too.  You could see that Michele and Michael are these type of parents, and it just brought back to me what family is all about, and how important it is for some and for what reasons people do get married.

The wedding was very intimate.  Just important family and friends.  Normally the weddings we do are quite big, we are used to trying to capture tons of little moments with loads of different people, but at this wedding we got to just focus on a small group.  Frank Nash worked with me on this wedding.
One of the guests put an awesome Fire Dancing display for us.  That Rocked!

We were fortunate enough to work with a great wedding coordinator Barry Geyer from Event & Design ( www.eventanddesign.co.za).  I stronly recommend him….again if Celeste gets some courage we might have to call him!!
